Powering Partnerships: An Evening in Warsaw

Company News
13 Oct 26

On Tuesday October 06, Gore Street Capital welcomed industry peers, partners and stakeholders to Warsaw for Powering Partnerships in Poland, an evening reception marking our entry into the Polish energy storage market.

The event brought together professionals from across the energy sector to celebrate an important milestone for GS EU and the growing role battery energy storage will play in Poland’s energy transition.

In her opening remarks, Managing Director, Alicja Kowalewska-Montfort, reflected on the significance of Gore Street’s first investment in the country and the opportunities ahead. As one of Europe’s most dynamic energy markets, Poland is expected to play an increasingly important role in the deployment of battery storage, supporting renewable energy integration, grid flexibility and growing electricity demand.

The reception also provided an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and build new connections with developers, contractors, advisers, investors and other participants across the energy ecosystem. As we progress our first Polish project and explore further opportunities in the market, these partnerships will be central to our long-term success.

Watch a short excerpt from Alicja’s opening remarks, alongside highlights from the evening’s celebrations in Warsaw.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this exciting new chapter. We look forward to continuing the conversations started on the night and to playing an active role in Poland’s evolving energy landscape.
